A Foundation in Healthcare
Dr. Doshi began his illustrious career in healthcare after earning his Bachelor of Dental Science degree in 1971 from the University of Bombay. His quest for excellence led him to New York, where he further honed his skills at the NYU School of Dentistry, obtaining his dental license in 1975. In 1994, Dr. Doshi co-founded a healthcare management company, which under his stewardship, expanded to include over 1400 employees across 38 locations in three states. This venture was later partnered with a New York-based private equity firm in 2005 and successfully sold in 2015.
Diversified Investments
Beyond healthcare, Dr. Doshi’s entrepreneurial spirit thrived as he established Doshi Capital Partners, through which he has made significant investments in real estate, specialty finance, chemicals, technology, and healthcare sectors. His strategic foresight is also evident in his founding of National Dental, LLC in 2016, which now operates nine practices in New York.
Philanthropic Endeavors
Alongside his wife, Leena, Dr. Doshi extends his impact through the Doshi Family Foundation, supporting a plethora of causes aimed at education, healthcare, and community development both in India and the U.S. Their efforts include supporting Pratham, American Indian Foundation, Veerayatan, and the innovative Doshi Difference high school program in New York.
